A short free verse poem on Women who make History!

Yes, women are soft, delicate, and often kept quiet,

But don’t think for one moment that we can’t be more.

The only thing that makes us different is our body makeup.

We can lead and make decisions like men

We are Trail Blazers in our own right

Raising children alone sometimes,

Working in a male-dominated field.

Fierce Thinkers!

Passing Laws!

Setting Trends!

Advocating with Friends!

Being the first to do it on many Platforms and Levels

Speaking up and being heard!

We are women making History Yesterday, Today, and Thereafter!

Women’s History be about it and learn about it!!
